After Polish soprano AGNIESZKA HAUZER - praised for her "individual timbered voice", her ""excellent technique"", as well as for her "nuanced, versatile. enthralling, credible and authentic vocal and acting interpretations" - made her highly acclaimed debut as SALOME at the Oper Kiel, she was hired in the ensemble and is establishing herself there in parts such as Janacek's JENUFA, Puccini's TOSCA, LÍU in "Turandot" and CIO-CIO SAN in "Madama Butterfly", SENTA in Wagner's "Der Fliegende Holländer", TATJANA in Caikovsky's "Jewgenji Onegin", MARGUERITE in Gounod's "Faust", VALENTINE in Meyerbeer's "Les Huguenots", CONTESSA ALMAVIVA in Mozat's "Le Nozze di Figaro" and DONNA ELVIRA in "Don Giovanni", JENNY in Brecht/Weill's "Aufstieg in Fall der Stadt Mahagonny", as SOPRANO in Verdi's staged "Requiem",
In the 2023/24 season, Mrs Hauzer will make her debuts as Mrs. ALICE FORD in Verdi's "Falstaff" and as AGATHE in Weber's "Der Freischütz", and sing again the 1. DAME in Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte".
Parts of the recent past included a highly acclaimed debut as KAISERIN in R. Strauss' "Frau ohne Schatten". as well as her debuts as AMELIA in Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera", MADAME CORDES in Rossini's "Il Viaggio á Reims", MARIETTA in Korngold's "Die Tote Stadt", DIDON in Berlioz' "Les Troyens" and in the Wagner-parts of ELSA in "Lohengrin", FREIA in "Rheingold", SIEGLINDE in "Walküre", GUTRUNE and 2. NORN in "Götterdämmerung".
Furthermore, she created the part of LOLA in Marco Tutino's World-Premiere "Falscher Verraat", sang ROSALINDE in J. Strauß' operetta "Die Ledermaus", and embodied MATHILDE in Rossini's "Guillaume Tell", which she also performed at the Saarländisches Staatstheater Saarbrücken, broadcasted on ARTE TV.
A return to Saarbrücken as MARTHA in Weinberg's "The Passanger" unfortunately had to be postponed to a later, not names yet, season.
After a long and performance-free (Covid-) period, the season 2021/22 has started with a huge success for Agnieszka Hauzer as CIO-CIO SAN in Puccini's "Madama Butterfly", followed by a not less successful DESDEMONA in Verdi's "Otello". and 1. DAME in Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" and, with overwhelming reviews, her AIDA debut; a part, she also will embody in the 2022/23 season.
Further guest contracts led her as MARGUERITE to the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw, as TOSCA to the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, as GISELDA in Verdi's "I Lombardi" to the Liederhalle Stuttgart, as ANTONIA in Offenbach's "Les Contes d'Hoffmann" to the Theater Gießen, as ELISABTH in Wagner's "Tannhäuser" and ELVIRA in Verdi's "Ernani" to the Opera Poznan, and as SENTA to the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, the Theater Bremerhaven and the Theater Bremen.
The soprano had the pleasure to work with such renowned stage directors and conductors as Daniel Carlberg, Fabio Ceresa, Brigitte Fassbender, Georg Fritzsch, Daniel Karasek, Luise Kautz, Pier Franceso Maestrini or Roland Schwab - to name only a few.
Mrs. Hauzer studied voice at the Fryderik Chopin Conservatory for Music in Warsaw, and completed her studies with Masterclasses with Wieslaw Ochman, Teresa Zylis-Gara, Margreet Honig, John Norris and Laurent Pillot.
In addition, she studied “Art Management" at the University Warsaw.
Already during her studies, she performed ROSALINDE in J. Strauß’ “Fledermaus”, PAMINA in Mozart's “Zauberflöte” and CLARICE in Haydn’s “Il Mondo della Luna” at the Opera Kameralna Warszawa and the La Chaux-de-Fonds München.
She is 2. Prize Winner of the “Halina Halska Kompetycja Wroclaw” and the 2. Prize Winner of the “Ignacy Jan Paderewski Kompetycja Bydgoszcz”.
In addition, she received the "Special Prize" for the "Best vocal and interpretive performance" at the “Ada Sari Kompetycja Nowy Sacz”.
